The Worst Super Bowl Half Time show ever! February 4, 2008

I was watching super bowl 42 and I’m not really into the football to be completely honest. All i know is that the patriots and the giants are playing. So the main thing i look forward to on super bowl day is the half time show. I was so pumped up to see Mary J Blige which i heard was due to perform….but guess what? Some guy named Tom Petty was singing. First off i had no idea who is and 2nd why on earth would they give him 3 songs? He is a nobody. I feel that ever since the whole Janet Jackson exposure incident, the half time show has really began to play it safe with who they book to perform. I understand that they might not want Lil Kim performing because she might wear something ” inappropriate”, but why not Chris Brown or Neyo Or Carrie Underwood or Britney….oh never mind   i forgot shes in The Psych Ward. But like i was saying this half time show sucked!

::::::This Just in::::: I just checked my sources and i was mistaken. Mary J Blige was to perform with Maroon 5 at the before show Concert. But sources said Paula Abdul was suppose to perform at the half time show and tom petty was suppose to be the main person singing (why?)…..This is very confusing i feel that they truly need some better people. I mean back in the day people use to love the half time show but now it’s like why bother having it and making a big deal if you aren’t going to have anyone worth watching for 15 minutes….but hey maybe somebody out there actually Like Tom Petty….i know it wasn’t me
