I had high expectations for the new WE-TV show called High School Confidential. I saw the commercial and i figured it would be a great show but after watching 1 hour of it, I realized it was nothing like what i thought it would be. One false move was the fact that the show originally came on at 10 at night…That’s not late but for a show that its core demographic is teens, the last show i would want to see at 10 would be High schoolconfidential. They should have made it a prime time show that came on at either 8 or 9. The second thing i did not like was how the show was made. I thought it would be a weekly episode of them coping with there life starting in grade 9 and working up to grade 12 . Instead they choose 2 or 3 people to focus in on and they talk about there struggles from grades 9-12. It becomes more of a biographical show and less of a show that has reality. not saying that this show isn’t realistic, because some of the things they talk about helps other people cope with their lives, i just figured they would show more of the high school life and less of the person talking about there high school life. Lastly my issue with this show is the lack of diversity. There is diversity amongthe family types and the social cliques but with race there is none.( they have one African American). With the exception of the show taking place in Kansas…which may play a big part….i feel that they could have been a bit more diverse then preppy vs nerd vs single parent vs traditional vs religious vs non religious. All though this show is not what i expected it to be, i feel that they did a good job with shedding light on how teenagers are thinking and coping with life in high school. It is relate-able, but they could have executed it better.

                                                                Just my opinion.

Hillary lies about her trip to Bosnia…no surprise there! March 27, 2008

If you have been following the road to the white house Hillary Clinton has recently been criticized about her comment regarding her trip to Bosnia in March 1996. Hillary claims that while she was on the plane they were entering evasively and there were gun shots and she said and i quote ” We were basically told to run to our  cars!”. Now i don’t know why she would make up something like that knowing that people have footage of her in Bosnia, getting off the plane and being greeted friendly  by a masses of people and media and they even have footage of her smiling and talking to a little Bosnian girl. So where is she getting this story from? I recently saw a story on the news where a woman reporter who happen to be with Hillary on the same trip said that Hillary must have been on a different trip because their stay at Bosnia was nothing at all like the way she explained. Now in my opinion for her to make up such an elaborate and detailed story about her trip sounds to me like she is a habitual liar. She doesn’t think about why she says things, she says it because she thinks that people will be receptive to it.

Now about her daughter, Chelsea. I don’t blame her for not disagreeing with her mother. She just agreed with Hillary in everything she said about Bosnia. But if you think about it, why wouldn’t she? She isn’t going to ruin her mothers chance at becoming president. God forbid if she did say, well maybe my mom has some facts off. If she ever dared to say that then the news headlines would be HILLARY CLINTON, CAUGHT IN A LIE BY HER DAUGHTER! Which wouldn’t be good on her part. That is why i feel when i heard Chelsea was not going to answer media questions, i applauded her. When you expose yourself to the media they are technically allowed to ask any question they want regardless of the morality of the question. So i feel that Chelsea should just stay home and do whatever she does because her, and Bill aren’t helping Hillary They are hurting her. Hillary needs to stop Lying, and bullying Obama if she even wants a smidgen of a vote she needs to stop. Many of the  people  who were planning on Voting for Hillary are now deciding not too, because if Hillary lies about something that is obviously false, what else does she lie about? Everything that she is promising the country now is in question. What if we elect her thinking she will do so much and its nothing but broken promises.

I figured this would be the case with Hillary since day one. She likes to play dirty politics and now it is backfiring. The more she talks and  insults and lies the less votes she gets. She is already behind in the delegates and in the popular. With her  acting like this i don’t know what she has in her play book to win. Plus her criticizing Obama about his crazy pastor. That same pastor that she is saying Obama should have turned his back on, was the one who Her Husband called to the white-house when  he was having the Monica Lewinsky scandal, so she needs to stop criticizing, lying and being a dirty politician.

but based on everything Clinton has done i doubt she wont stop her dirty politician tactics

GO OBAMA!!!!!

The Michelle Obama statement…controversy? February 20, 2008

Well lately there has been some senseless political controversy over what Michelle Obama ( Barack Obama’s wife) had said during one of Barack’s Rallies. She said and i quote “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country … not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change,” . See now in my opinion i don’t see anything wrong with what she is saying. Maybe that is truly how she feels. People try to misconstrue her words by saying she is not patriotic, she doesn’t have pride in her country. How do you take that sentence and analayze it as that. I mean yeah, she shouldnt have said it while Barack is campaigning because in a political aspect it seems “unpatriotic” and it might hurt Obama in the long run…which i doubt. But i mean lets get honest i am not proud of my country when we run into areas of the world and make a war zone out of it, i wasnt proud when slavery was allowd, nor was i proud when black codes and segregation was allowed. I wasnt proud when Bush came into office because all he did was create chaos. So i mean yeah if you asked anybody i am sure there were times that you was not proud of your country. In michelle obama’s case i dont even read it as her not being proud, but as her being proud that the country can finally accept the idea of having a black president and that change could be possible. That is how i interpreted her quote. People will be people and that just shows how cut throat politics can be. Also McCain’s wife had some nerve saying” well im proud of my country”. Okay and that means?? I am not even going to get on the topic of McCain because i dont like him nor do i trust him as a president so….back to the Obama thing. Since the world of politics is such a cut throat world, you have be careful with what you say. Anything and everything will be used against you, not in a court of law but in societies eyes.

Barack for President! January 28, 2008

Times are changing and Barack Obama is that change. A well deserved change that took too long to happen but hey…what can you say? Barack Obama has so far won the Nevada Caucus and the South Carolina primaries. He is doing much better then i thought he would do, being a black man running for presidency. And people are  wasting their time talking about race is not an  issue…be serious race is still an issue in the minds of some/many people. Personally i don’t like Barack Obama because he is black . I like him because he stands for most of the things i stand for, he is sincere in his speaking and he seems like he can do a good job running the country regardless of his so called lack of experience. Hillary on the other hand i feel that she at times appears to be cut throat vicious. She seems like she will do anything to win and doesn’t care how she wins. Also i wish that some people would stop saying I’m voting for Hillary because of Bill. I have heard grown people say this, and it makes me wonder why they would say such a idiotic thing. If you are voting for someone because of their husband then you are wasting your time. Bill’s success in the white house has nothing to do with Hillary’s, and it shouldn’t even be compared.
Barack has a fresh, new approach to things and i think people should recognize that. Also the media try little things such as having breaking news headlines such as Baracks Middle name is Hussein! Or, saying things like he went to a school in the middle east…a school that supposedly taught terrorism, or saying idiotic things like, is he black enough? What kind of questions are these. Just because  he didn’t get the black vote right away means that he isn’t black enough…? That makes no sense. I guess they want him to be an African American stereotype ( which i wont name a steorotype because that just perpetuates them even more). Though some people cant get past the color of his skin alot of people have, and i will give them credit. Recently Caroline Kennedy decided to endorse Barack and also others have endorsed him clearly not because of his race but because of what he stands for. So props to them!

Lastly i just want to say that because of his race i also fear for his life. yes in the year 2008 i fear for his life because if he does become president he will need l an army of security surrounding him and his family at all times. The KKK is definitely on the rise and i am scared because of that. They are so ignorant but what can you say to ignorant people who claim to be Christians…….anyway…I fear for his life because also the “imperial wizard of the Klan”…..(what a joke)……. claims that if he does become president something will be done about that. Hinting that he will most likely be killed. So yeah that is why having a black president will be a well deserved change but is America ready…i don’t know….i know i am.

Are you ready?
